Als gebürtiger Engländer genoss Simon seine Heimat und plante nicht, sie zu verlassen, bis er eines Tages mit einer unerwarteten Herausforderung konfrontiert wurde: Einem Ruf Gottes, seine Praxis als Osteopath niederzulegen, um Christen in Österreich zu dienen. Seitdem – 1990 - ist er in seiner neuen Heimat tätig.

Bereits in seiner Herkunftsgemeinde, der anglikanischen Kirche, war er in unterschiedlichen Bereichen leitend tätig. Dabei rückte der Schwerpunkt seiner Berufung immer mehr in den Vordergrund: Menschen im Gebet und Gespräch zu helfen, damit sie an ihre gottgegebenen Ziele ankommen.

Nach verschiedenen Schulungen und Praktika begann die Kernaufgabe des Elijah House - Transformation und Versöhnung im Dienst an Einzelnen, Familien, Gemeinden und darüber hinaus - einen großen Platz in seinem Herzen einzunehmen.

Seit 2019 ist er Teil des Leitungskreises Elijah House Global, einem Team von Leitern, die für die 12 Elijah - Häuser weltweit zuständig sind.

Mit seiner jahrelangen Erfahrung im Dienst, seiner Einsicht und Weisheit ist er ein gefragter Prediger und Sprecher zu gesellschaftsrelevanten und spannungsgeladenen Themen.

Im jungen Erwachsenenalter begegnete Dagmar Jesus und begann eine lebensverändernde Beziehung mit ihrem Erlöser. Von Anfang an offenbarte sich Jesus ihr auf verschiedenste Art und Weise und führte sie durch Seine Stimme. Nach einer Zeit als selbstständige Physiotherapeutin erhielt sie eine klare Berufung in den Vollzeitdienst mit ihrem Ehemann.

Diese tiefe Nähe Gottes in einer vertrauten Beziehung mit dem Vater, dem Sohn und dem Heiligen Geist möchte sie auch anderen vermitteln. In dem Dienst der inneren Heilung, Befreiung und Transformation begleitet sie Menschen, die Gottes Reich in ihrem eignen Leben und dem Leben ihrer Mitmenschen mit Liebe und Vollmacht bauen wollen.

Ein wichtiger Aspekt ihres Dienstes ist die prophetische Ausbildung von Christen zu einem verantwortungsvollen Umgang in der Vielfalt des Prophetischen Dienstes. Dazu hat sie selbst mehrere Fortbildungen gemacht.

Dagmar ist ebenfalls Teil österreichweiter Gebetsinitiativen und leitet einen prophetischen Fürbittekreis im Elijah House. Ihre Vision ist es, Christen aus allen Konfessionen zusammenzubringen, um für die Nationen im Gebet einzustehen.

Simon and Dagmar met in Graz/Austria in 1990 and after their marriage decided to be trained in the USA by John and Paul Sandford and the Elijah House team to follow God's call to full-time ministry.

In 1995, they returned to their home country as new parents and began their first training courses in German-speaking countries. At the same time, they helped to found and establish a new congregation in Graz.

Through God's supernatural leading, they moved to Pitten, Lower Austria, in 2000 and purchased a home that serves as a center for ministry in Europe. Thanks to many friends and supporters, they were soon able to expand their field of activity.

They are happy to be able to pass on their many years of experience in service to other people every day. Her primary concern is that God's kingdom increases in people's hearts so that His church can carry God's good news of redemption and reconciliation into our society.

In their free time, they love spending time with family and friends and enjoy climbing Austria's mountains with their mountain bike tandem!

Claudia has often used the services of Elijah House Austria personally. She is grateful for the heartfelt changes that have taken place in her life as a result, which have had a direct impact on her relationship with God, her everyday life and her family life. Claudia is married and lives south of Vienna with her three children. She has a heart for worship and prayer and enjoys being creative in different areas. She has been part of our office management team since 2025. It is a pleasure for her to be able to contribute to our service in this way.

So Sheena, the daughter of Simon and Dagmar, grew up at Elijah House and was able to see the positive impact of this ministry on the lives of others from an early age. This motivated her to pursue training so that she could also support others through prayer ministry and training.

Her desire to experience God more deeply and to live in harmony with Him also led Sheena to earn a master's degree in biblical studies at St. Andrews. Since 2022, Sheena has gained valuable experience in Christian life counselling, mentoring, conflict coaching, and teaching with the international missionary organisation SIM (Serving in Mission) and its partner organisation, PeaceWise.

Sheena lives with her husband and three daughters in the south of France, where she is also active in various areas of the church (including prayer ministry and the mothers' group). She is so grateful for the blessings that the Elijah House ministry has brought to her personal relationship with God, her family, and her acquaintances, and for how it has helped her cope with the current challenges facing our society. She would like to share this blessing with people of all ages and backgrounds by offering prayer ministry, mentoring, and coaching via video conference in German, English, or French.

We look back on the life and work of John and Paula Sandford with great gratitude:

In obedience to the Lord's calling and the mandate of Malachi 4:5-6 and Matthew 17:11, John Sandford founded Elijah House Inc. with his wife Paula in 1974.

They are regarded worldwide as pioneers of the prophetic and inner healing/liberation movements of our time.

Her work in the Kingdom has brought reconciliation and restoration of relationships to countless thousands - individuals, families, denominations and people groups in their relationship with each other and ultimately with the Heavenly Father. They both went home to their Lord and Savior in 2012 and 2018 respectively.
