Location
We are located in the eastern part of Austria, approx. 55 km south of Vienna. We are easy to reach both by public transport and by car. Vienna and Graz airports are around an hour’s drive away, with Vienna being even more convenient due to its good train connections.
If you are traveling from Germany or the western federal states, the best way to get here is via the “Wien-Meidling” train station. There you can change to the train in the direction of Wr.Neustadt Hauptbahnhof, where you change one last time to the train in the direction of Aspang to get to Seebenstein.
As we are very close to a major highway junction, we are very easy to reach by car – about 40 minutes from Vienna, 1 hour from Graz and 40 minutes from Bruck a.d. Mur.
Lower Pittental
The village of Pitten is located in the “Bucklige Welt”, a beautiful green hilly landscape bordering the federal states of Styria and Burgenland.
The peaceful surroundings offer many hiking and walking opportunities through the wooded hills. Vienna can be reached by train in just 1 hour. If you come by car, there are many opportunities for relaxing leisure activities.

Sautern and surroundings
We live in Sautern, which belongs to Pitten. However, the Elijah House is closer to the center of Seebenstein. This quiet village center is only a 15-minute walk away. Please note that the train station Seebenstein is closer to the “Elijah House Austria” than the one in Pitten.
